instantSelect License Agreement

This agreement is between you and Rayyan Burondkar, an individual trading as LoopBoard, of Dapoli, District Ratnagiri, Maharashtra, India ("LoopBoard", "we", "us"). It covers the instantSelect browser extension, its updates and its documentation ("instantSelect").

By buying, installing or using instantSelect you agree to this agreement. If you don't agree, don't install or use it. If you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's consent. instantSelect is not intended for children under 13.

1. What instantSelect is

instantSelect is a browser extension that lets you collect links to Instagram reels and video posts you choose, keep them in a list, and copy that list in one click. You can use it on its own or together with LoopBoard, our Windows moodboard app for motion references. The two are separate products; buying instantSelect doesn't require LoopBoard, and LoopBoard remains free.

instantSelect does not download, copy or store any media. It only stores the links you choose, on your own device.

2. Your license

When you buy instantSelect, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use it, subject to this agreement.

One license is for one person.
It can be active in one browser at a time. When you activate it in another browser, it moves there automatically and the previous browser stops within minutes of being used (or when it next goes online). Moves are limited to 3 per license per 24 hours. You can also deactivate it yourself (Settings → Deactivate this browser).
You may use instantSelect for personal or commercial work.
The license does not expire. It lasts as long as you follow this agreement.

instantSelect is licensed, not sold. We and our licensors keep all rights, title and interest in it, including its code, design, name and logo.

3. What you must not do

You must not, and must not help anyone else to:

share, publish, sell or give away your license key, or let people outside your license use it;
copy, redistribute, republish, rent, lease or sell instantSelect or any part of it, including uploading it to any extension store or website;
reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or modify instantSelect, or create works based on it, except where the law expressly allows this despite this restriction;
remove, disable, bypass or interfere with the license check, or use a key generator, cracked copy or shared key;
remove or change any copyright, trademark or other notice in instantSelect;
use instantSelect to collect material in bulk by automated means, or in any way that breaks the law, Instagram's terms, or anyone's copyright, privacy or other rights.

4. Your responsibility for what you collect

instantSelect helps you gather links to content that other people own. You are responsible for how you use those links and that content, wherever you paste or use them, including in LoopBoard. Use only material you have the right to use, such as your own work, licensed material, or material used under an applicable copyright exception. LoopBoard's own Terms and Copyright pages apply to anything you do in LoopBoard.

5. License checks

To confirm your license, instantSelect contacts our payment provider, Dodo Payments, and our own license server (api.theloopboard.com and its backup address, both hosted on Cloudflare):

when you activate it: your license key and a label such as "instantSelect · Chrome on Windows" go to Dodo Payments, and your license key and this browser's activation ID go to our server, which records that this browser now holds the license;
about once a day while you use it: your license key and this browser's activation ID go to Dodo Payments (to check the key is still valid) and to our server (to check this is still the browser holding it);
every few minutes while Instagram is open, and when you open the instantSelect menu: your license key and this browser's activation ID go to our server only, to check this is still the browser holding the license;
when you move it to a new browser: your license key goes to our server, which asks Dodo Payments to deactivate the previous browser;
when you deactivate it: your license key and this browser's activation ID go to Dodo Payments.

Separately, when you click Send to LoopBoard, instantSelect sends your saved links to the LoopBoard app on your own computer (127.0.0.1). That connection never leaves your device.

If instantSelect can't reach the license server, it keeps working for up to 7 days after the last successful check. After that it pauses until it can check again. If a key is refunded, disabled or found to breach this agreement, instantSelect stops collecting links in every browser where that key is active. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Price, payment and refunds

instantSelect is sold as a one-time purchase at a price you choose, with a minimum of US$2 (plus any tax shown at checkout). Every price gets the same license; paying more than the minimum is voluntary and is not a donation. Payment is handled by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and seller for the transaction. Dodo Payments' terms also apply to your purchase. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy. When a purchase is refunded, its license key is disabled.

7. Updates and Instagram changes

We may release updates to fix problems, keep up with changes to Instagram, or improve instantSelect. Updates are delivered through the browser's extension store and are covered by this agreement.

instantSelect depends on how Instagram's website works, which Instagram can change at any time without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to keep instantSelect working, but we can't guarantee it will always work with Instagram, or keep working with any particular browser.

8. Instagram

instantSelect is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc.

9. Ending this agreement

You can end this agreement at any time by uninstalling instantSelect. We may end your license, and disable your key, if you break this agreement, especially section 3. When it ends, you must stop using instantSelect and uninstall it. Sections 3, 4, 8, 10, 11 and 13 continue after it ends.

10. No warranty

instantSelect is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every page, browser or version of Instagram.

Your list of links is stored only in your browser. It can be lost if you uninstall the extension, clear your browser data or reinstall your browser. Copy your list regularly.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue or goodwill, arising from your use of instantSelect. Our total liability for all claims relating to instantSelect is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for instantSelect or INR 1,000.

12. Your consumer rights

Nothing in this agreement limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded or limited by contract.

13. Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ratnagiri, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the consumer law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.

14. Changes to this agreement

We may update this agreement, for example when we add features. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll note it in the extension's store listing or on theloopboard.com. Changes don't take away rights for a purchase you've already made without your agreement.
